Tuksuk Channel is located extends NW-SE between Imuruk Basin and Grantley Harbor, 10 mi. E of Teller, Seward Peninsula High
History
In 1827 Captain Beechey (1831, p. 541), Royal Navy (RN), described the feature as, "strait, called Tokshook by the natives." Reported as "Tuksuk" and mapped in 1900 by E. C. Barnard (in Brooks, 1901, pl. 12), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). "Tuksuk" is Esikmo, said to mean "channel" or "long."
