North coast of St. Lawrence I., heads on the NW slopes of the Kookooligit Mountains and flows NW to the Bering Sea, 4.3 mi SW of Eewak Point, 10 mi. SW of Savoonga.
History
Eskimo name recommended by the Savoonga village council and reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF).
