Prospectors' name published on the 1900 "Map of Nome Peninsula" by J. M. Davidson and B. D. Blakeslee. This appears to be the Upland Creek" shown in 1900 on U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Chart 9380.
