Description
Secret Creek is located heads E of Uncle Sam Mtn., flows S to lagoon on Norton Sound, 6 mi. E of Solomon, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1905 by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Shown as "Secret Ravine Cr." on Arthur Gibson's "Map of Cape Nome Precinct" dated 1902. U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists reported the upper course of the stream in 1907 as "Basin Creek" (Smith, p. S., 1910, pl. 3).
