Myrtle Creek is located flows S joins La Spray Creek to form Flambeau River, 18 mi. NE of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.

Prospectors' name reported in 1904 by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Shown as "Abbie" on a map of Cape Nome gold fields by David Fox, Jr., dated 1901.
