Description
Mud Creek is located flows NW to Ruby Creek which flows to Casadepaga River, 17 mi. NE of Solomon, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1905 by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The variant name "Iowa" was reported in 1907 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists (P. S. Smith, 1910, pl. 4).
