Prospectors' name reported in 1900 by E. C. Barnard (in Brooks, 1901, pl. 17), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). This appears to be the stream labeled "Peacer Creek" by Schrader (1900c, p. 16), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
