Heads in a lake; Flows SE to a broad reentrant of Koozata Lagoon 35 mi. SE of Gambell on the S coast of Saint Lawrence Island.

Eskimo name recommended by the Gambell village council; reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF).
