Description
Dime Creek is located flows SE to Koyuk River, 6 mi. SE of Haycock, Seward Peninsula High. 11 miles long.
History
Named about 1913 by prospectors; reported by A. H. Brooks, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1915. The prevailing story is that the stream received its name because "about a dimes worth of gold was found in each panning."
