Description
Borg Creek is located flows NW to Snake River, 12 mi. N of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.; 1.8 miles long.
History
Published as "Burg Creek" in January 1900 by Schrader (1900c, p. 16), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Schrader labeled the head of this stream, "Quartz Creek". It is shown as shown as "Berg Creek". on map dated 1900 by S. E. King. Reported as "Borg" on the 1900 "Map of Nome Peninsula" by J. M. Davidson and B. D. Blakeslee.
