Black Crook Creek is located flows SW to Igloo Creek which flows to American River, 27 mi. NE of Teller, Seward Peninsula High. 4.5 miles long.

Prospectors' name reported in 1900 by Messrs. Kemp and David Fox (in Brooks, 1901, pl. 11).
