Description
Dexter Ridge is located trends NE-SW in vicinity of Mount Kachauik, about 15 mi. NE of Golovin and 20 mi. NW of Elim, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Local name published by Schrader (1900c, p. 16), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The ridge was not identified on subsequent maps. Probably named for John Dexter, who operated a trading post at Golovin.
