Description
Extends 50 mi from the head of Niukluk River, 7 mi W of Mount Bendeleben to Death Valley and Windy Creek at the N end of Darby Mountains, Seward Peninsula, Highlands.
History
Local name reproted in 1900 by Brooks (1901,p17) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Named for Mount Bendeleben, the highest peak in the range. Schrader (1900c, p16) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), applied the name "Green Horn Mountain Range".
