Description
Tarpkwa (historical) is located on Seward Peninsula, on Chukchi Sea coast, N of Cape Prince of Wales, Kotzebue-Kopuk Low.

Site of an Eskimo village reported in 1897 by Lieutenant Bertholf, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), but not found on any map.
