Description
In the central part of the N coast of Saint Lawrence Island, 9.6 mi SE of Kookoolik Cape and 8.5 mi NW of the mouth of Fossil River, 50 mi. SE of Gambell.

Eskimo name, meaning "sharp" (singikhpa), reported in 1932 by O. W. Geist, University of Alaska.
