Description
5.5 mi SE of Bunnell Cape at the mouth of Boxer River, W portion of the S coast of Saint Lawrence Island, its SE limit is formed by the Mountainous Iwoonut Point. 1.5 miles long.
History
So named in 1926 by Geist (1936, p. 26), University of Alaska, for the U.S.M.S. Boxer, because the ship took shelter here during a storm.
