Description
Located 4 km (2.5 mi) south of the west end of Anthracite Ridge, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) northeast of Upper Bonnie Lake, 104 km (65 mi) northeast of Anchorage.
History
Named for Wardie W King (1914-1995), Chief of Safety for the US Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District, and longtime resident of a cabin located near the summit.
