Description
Heads at glacier terminus, flows N to Kashwitna River, 24 mi. N of Palmer, Talkeetna Mountains. 7 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1935 by P. S. Smith, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Named "in honor of Frank Bartholf, pioneer prospector in this district who did much toward the opening and developing of the surrounding country."
