Description
Skwentna River is located heads at South Twin Glacier at 612600N, 1524100W, flows N and E to Yentna River, 63 mi. N of Tyonek, Cook Inlet Low.
History
Tanaina Indian name reported in 1898 by Spurr (1900,p. 48), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), as "Skwent River."
