Description
Heads in the lake, flows NE, then N, to Bishop Creek, 0.3 mi W of the latters mouth on the Beluga River, 18 mi. NW of Tyonek, Cook Inlet Low.

Named by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1962 for the steep cliff along its lower course.
