Description
Long Creek is located between Dutch and Peters Hills, formed by junction of Canyon and Divide Creeks, flows NE to Tokositna River, 27 mi. NW of Talkeetna, Alaska Range
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1911 by S. R. Capps (in Brooks, 1912, pl. 9 and p. 196), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In 1906 R. W. Porter, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), applied the name "Dog Creek" to the same feature.
