Description
Lake Creek is located heads at Chelatna Lake, at 622630N1512400W, flows SE 50 mi. to Yentna River, 58 mi. NW of Anchorage; Cook Inlet Low.
History
prospectors' name reported by Sidney Paige and Adolph Knopf (in Brooks and others, 1906, p. 119), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). reported in 1898 the Tanaina Indian name for this stream as "Mentalik."
