Description
Chunilna Creek is located heads at 634300N1491500W; flows SW to Talkeetna River, 4.5 mi. NE of Talkeetna, Cook Inlet Low. 50 miles long.
History
Indian name reported in 1898 by G. H. Eldridge and Robert Muldrow, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). On one manuscript map they spell the name, "Chunilna" on another, "Chinaldna."
