Description
Extends SW from the Maclaren to the Susitna Rivers E of Denali, 72 mi. SE of Healy, Alaska Range. 25 miles long by 20 miles wide.
History
Named in 1954 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for Clearwater Creek which drains the central part.
