Located partially within the City of Houston, 2.4 km (1.5 mi) north of the Little Susitna River; approximately 70 acres in size.
History
A proposal to change the name Zero Lake to Aurora Lake was submitted in June 2005; on 6 June 2006, the USBGN rejected the proposal based on the lack of evidence of local and State support for changing a long-standing name.
