Description
Located in Denali National Park and Preserve, 3.2 km (2 mi) SE of Ruth Glacier and 38 km (24 mi) NNW of Talkeetna.
History
Named for Raymond Edward Genet, (1931-1979), mountain climber and glimbing guide who led numerous rescue missions on the slopes of Denali; his nickname was "Pirate".
