Description
E of Little Susitna River, 13 mi. NW of Anchorage, Cook Inlet Low. 160 acres in size. Maximum depth is 23 feet. 1.6 miles long.
History
Local name reported by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1958; so named because the lake has the shape of a horseshoe.
