S of Black River, 23 mi. SW of junction of Oshetna and Susitna River, Talkeetna Mts. 2 miles long.
History
Local descriptive name reported in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Name is a misnomer. The lake is a glacial lake and is located in a glaciated valley.
