Description
In the Alaska Range, Tordrillo Mountains, heading at the junction of its North and South Branches and trending NE to its terminus, where it forms the head of the Trimble River, 82 mi NW of Anchorage.
History
Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1961 for Kelley W. Trimble (1885-1955), U.S. Geological Survey topographer, who did the first topographic survey in this area.
