Glacier Point is located at junction of Caribou Creek and Matanusha River, 50 mi. NE of Palmer, Talkeetna Mts.

Descriptive name given by W. C. Mendenhall in 1898 and reported in 1900 by him (map 16), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
