Description
High Creek is located flows to Lava Creek 3 mi. SW of its junction with Cinder River, on Alaska Peninsula, 37 mi. SW of Ugashik, Bristol Bay Low. 14 miles long.
History
Descriptive name given in 1923 by R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "because part of its course runs on a high terrace parallel to Lava Creek."
