Description
Funnel Creek is located heads in a lake at 591300N1544000W flows W through Mirror Lake to Moraine Creek, 8.5 mi. E of Kukaklek Lake, 40 mi. S of Iliamna, Aleutian Range. 13 miles long.
History
So named by R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1923 because of strong winds encountered in the stream valley. Published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) (in Brooks and others, 1925, p. 3).
