Description
Dog Salmon River is located meanders NW to Ugashik River 4 mi. SE of its mouth at Ugashik Bay, on N coast of Alaska Peninsula, 4 mi. SW of Ugashik, Bristol Bay Low. 70 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1900 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albatross.
