Knutson Bay is located in Iliamna Lake, at mouth of Knutson Creek, 18 mi. E of Iliamna, Aleutian Range
History
Local name reported by G. C. Martin and F. J. Katz (in Brooks and others, 1910, pl. 5), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Name was apparently derived from nearby Knutson mining prospect.
