Intricate Bay is located at mouth of Copper River on SE side of Iliamna Lake, N of Kakhonak Bay, 20 mi. SE of Iliamna, Aleutian Range
History
Descriptive name reported in 1911 by Martin and Katz (1912a, p. 91), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). "So named because the cove is full of islands."
