Big River is located flows NW and S to Kashunuk River, 44 mi. W of Marshall, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta; 20 miles long.

Local name; obtained in 1951 from G. A. Sheppard at Mountain Village by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
