Description
Taku Channel is located extends in off-shore mud flats, between Acharon Channel and Bering Sea, 14 mi. N of Black, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
History
So named by G. R. Putnam, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), in 1899, for the Coast Survey steamer Taku.
