Description
Akalura Creek is located heads at Akalura Lake, flows S to Cannery Cove, in Olga Bay, 30 mi. SE of Karluk, in SW part of Kodiak I. 1 mile long.
History
Named in 1939 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) which also reported the name Cannery Creek for this feature in 1930. The names North Olga and Home Streams were reported in 1901.
