History
Transliteration of the name "Os(trov) Utesistoy" published by Sarichev 71826, map 16). Baker (1906, p. 531) published "Rocky Island," the translation of Sarichev's name. Because of juplications the name was changed to its present form in 1940 by ISC&GS.
