Description
Table Island is located at NE entrance to Sitkalidak Strait, SE of Kodiak I.
History
Descriptive name given in 1928 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) , "because of the table-like appearance of the island." Previously called "Entrance Island;" the name was changed because of duplications.
