Prokoda Island is located in Narrow Strait, 9.3 mi. NW of Kodiak, between Spruce and Kodiak Islands. 0.3 mile long.

Transliteration in 1909 by US@C&GS of the name Os(trov) Prokhoda meaning passage island given by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 23).
