Description
Discoverer Island is located in Discoverer Bay, part of Perenosa Bay, on N coast of Afognak I., N of Kodiak I. 1 mile long.
History
Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1934 for one of its ships, the Discoverer.
