Description
Katmai Pass is located near head of Mageik Creek, on Alaska Peninsula, in Katmai National Monument, 7 mi. SW of Mount Katmai, Aleutian Range
History
Named in 1898 by J. E. Spurr and W. S. Post, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and "applied because of proximity to Katmai River."
