History
Translation by Baker (1906, p. 679) of the name "Guba Babya," published by Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 16) Imperial Russian Navy (IRN). In 1938 U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) published the name "English Bay."
