Description
Partition Cove is located on SE coast of Sitkalidak I., SE of Kodiak I.
History
Descriptive name given in 1934 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), because the "cove is partitioned or bisected through its center by an islet and tombolo: the beach at its head is an isthmus, only 50 to 200 meters across, forming a partition between the cove and McDonald Lagoon."
