Back Bay is located on S coast of Afognak I., extends N at head of Afognak Bay, 5 mi. N of Afognak, Kodiak I. 1 mile long.
History
Local name; reported in 1900 by Lieutenant Commander Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), commander of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albatross.
