Humpback Creek is located heads in Peabody Mts., flows W through Humpback Lake to Mink Bay, Coast Mts. 15 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1915 by E. Lester Jones, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); so named because this stream is "a famous spawning place of the Humpback Salmon."
