Gilbert Lake is located in Coast Mts., N of Walker Cove, in course of Choca Creek. 1.3 miles long.
History
Named in 1930 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) for Charles H. Gilbert, ichthyologist, who made valuable contributions to the scientific knowledge of the salmon fisheries of Alaska.
