Description
East Clump is located in Tongass Narrows, along NE coast of Gravina I., 1 mi. W of Ketchikan, Alex. Arch. 400 feet long.
History
Named by local pilots about 1880; it was called "Seat Island" in 1883 by W. H. Dall, US@C&GS, because of a seat-shaped rock at its outer end.
