Description
Bell Island is located in Behm Canal, N of Revillagigedo I., Alex. Arch. 8.7 miles long.
History
Named in 1793 by Captain Vancouver, Royal Navy (RN), for Midshipman Bell (complete name not available), a member of his crew; discovered by Joseph Whidbey in August, 1793 (Wagner, 1937, p. 375).
